How to Turn One Idea Into a 4-Panel Story With AI
Most AI tools make you describe every picture separately, which is why a four-image story takes four prompts and still doesn't hang together. What the Story Kit actually does
A Story is one narrative, four panels. How to make a story with AI, step by step
Open the Story Kit

Write the story once, in plain English
Tell it like a story: "A small robot wakes up alone in a workshop, finds a photograph of the family that built it, walks through an empty city to find them, and knocks on their door at sunset." Beginning, middle, end. You are not describing pictures — you are describing what happens.

Generate, then re-roll the panel you don't like
Promly splits your narrative into four beats, builds the prompt for each behind the scenes, and renders all four. If one panel misses, re-roll just that panel — the other three stay as they are.
Tip: write actions, not adjectives. "She finds the letter, reads it on the stairs, and runs out into the rain" gives the Kit four obvious beats. "A beautiful cinematic emotional scene" gives it nothing to divide, and you'll get four versions of the same picture.
Story, Comic, or Storyboard?
Three Kits sound similar and do different jobs. Story gives you four finished panels from one paragraph — the fastest way from an idea to a visual sequence. Comic generates complete comic pages, panels and layout together. Storyboard is for planning a shoot, with a prompt per frame and control over each shot.
Rule of thumb: telling a story → Story. Making something that reads like a comic → Comic. Planning a video → Storyboard.
